Bull Appointed as Interim




Sandra Smith Bull

     Sandra Smith Bull has been appointed as DKG Interim Executive Director. Her appointment is effective May 1, 2014. Bull has served the Society in many roles, most recently, as chair, Arts & Humanities Jury. She has also been the Business Services Administrator, Executive Coordinator, and interim Membership Services Administrator.

      Bull will serve from May 1, 2014 through  August 31, 2015, or until an executive director is selected by the 2014-2016 Administrative Board, if later. Following is a tentative schedule to be used in the search for an executive director:

·        Announcement of Vacancy – July 2014

·        Application Deadline – March 31, 2015

·        Recommend to Administrative Board – April 2015

·        Qualified Applicants notified – April 22, 2015

·        Interview of Applicants – May 13-16, 2015

·        Official Announcement of Executive Director  – June 2015

·        Employment of Executive Director to become effective –  September 1, 2015.
