The first email sent directly to DKG members on Friday, April 25-26, 2014, was very successful.Even though some members received the email in their Spam boxes, others at old addresses, and many bounced, 75% of the members with email addresses in the Society database received the communication.
Much was learned, obstacles will be overcome, and now, members will be able to receive international information directly and instantly.
Up front seating for opening night, Monday, July 28, in Indianapolis, has been reserved for 25-40 members who responded to the email.
Chapter presidents, please make sure your members' email addresses are correct in the Society database. Ask a member to update the email addresses for all, so that all members receive the communications.
